Euxo is a simple utility app intended to help musicians create sequenced loops with Euclidean rhythms. These rhythms are created by spreading their notes as equally as possible over time, with intervals equalling the greatest common denominator between the number of notes and the length of the piece. This is not really a challenge when the number of steps and the number of notes are divisible into whole numbers, but becomes much more difficult when they dont. Use Euxo to do the complicated math for you. Let it show you how to spread your chosen number of notes across the number of steps in your loop. Euxo does not make any sound, or connect to external sequencers. It just displays a little X to indicate a step that needs a note, and a little O for a rest. You have to enter those notes and rests into your sequencer based instrument yourself. The maximum number of steps this version of Euxo will work with is 16, but who knows, a future version may attempt more!
